Use this page to sponsor SkyCube - and to own a part of the mission.

Your sponsorship will help us cover the remaining launch cost, and offset additional development and operational expenses incurred since 2012. As we are a for-profit company, SkyCube sponsorships are not tax-deductible. However, you're still supporting a great cause - and you're getting some very cool stuff from us in return! When SkyCube launches, you'll be able to use Satellite Safari to send messages and request images from the satellite, too! For now, you can use this web page to sponsor part of the mission, and reserve your allocation of broadcasts and pictures from orbit.

IMPORTANT: We use PayPal for sponsorship payment processing*. Your PayPal email address is your sponsor ID. We save your allocation of messages and images from the satellite under this email address in our database. Your PayPal receipt is your sponsorship order confirmation. Please keep it safe!

We use USPS priority or express mail to ship physical goods (T-shirts, model rockets, etc). Sponsors in the United States, please allow up to one week for Priority Mail delivery, or two days for Express Mail delivery. Sponsors outside the United States, please allow up to four weeks for Priority Mail delivery, or two weeks for Express Mail delivery. For international deliveries, customs processing time may add an additional delay.

(*) PayPal isn't just for convenience. Elon Musk co-founded PayPal, and also founded SpaceX - whose rockets will carry SkyCube into orbit. It fits.

Sponsors 1 minute of the mission. You can broadcast five (5) 120-character messages from the satellite.

Sponsors 2 minutes of the mission. You can broadcast ten (10) 120-character messages from the satellite, and request one (1) image from the satellite.

An ideal family pack - you can broadcast one hundred twenty (120) 120-character messages from the satellite, and request twelve (12) images from the satellite at any time during the mission. We'll send you four (4) SkyCube mission T-shirts, and you'll get a one-year digital subscription to Sky & Telescope magazine.

You can broadcast one thousand (1000) 120-character messages from space, and request up to one hundred (100) images from the satellite. You'll also get twenty (20) SkyCube mission T-shirts, a one-year digital subscription to Sky & Telescope magazine, plus a flying SpaceX Falcon 9 model rocket. We'll also send you a radio receiver which you can use to detect transmissions from SkyCube and other satellites already in orbit!

Sponsors 10 hours of the mission. You can also send up to to six thousand (6000) messages from orbit, and request up to six hundred (600) images from the satellite. We'll send you the same rewards as our $1,000 sponsors (amateur satellite radio receiver, SpaceX model rocket, Sky & Telescope digital subscription, 20 T-shirts). And we'll provide round-trip airfare for one person to Cape Canaveral from anywhere in the continental USA, and one launch viewing ticket, for you to see the Falcon 9 rocket carrying SkyCube launch to the International Space Station!
